Quality Assurance Manager
Job Description
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for maintenance of all food safety and quality programs for Grafton Village Cheese facilities. This position acts as an integral part of the plant management team, actively engaging with plant management and plant personnel regarding plant operations and processes, especially those related to quality assurance and policy.
Core Responsibilities
- Review and maintain of all SQF records and documents: includes HACCP, SOPs, GMPs, microbiological control programs, regulatory compliance, sanitation, hold and release, food defense, customer programs, continuous improvement and others.
- Supervises laboratory and plant testing: demonstrates high level of understanding of plant testing requirements regarding product quality assurance, and assists, manages records and maintenance of technical procedures, lab methods and work instructions for laboratory
- External audit management: acts as lead for all food safety and quality audits for both GVC plants
- Quality assurance training and compliance: works with plant personnel to ensure all employees have up-to-date training, and ensures compliance with GMP and Food Safety requirements for all plant personnel
- Acts as a key resource for the management team, provides timely feedback to plant leadership team regarding food safety and quality issues, concerns, actions and programs
- Responsible for quality budget and personnel.

- Required Experience
- SQF Practioner/ SQFI preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Previous experience working in food production Quality Assurance or related experience
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills and capabilities as a part of the plant management team
Education and Work Experience
The right candidate will have at least 2 years of food safety compliance and must be familiar with SQF or at a minimum PCQI.

Customer Service Position
Job Description
We are seeking a Full Time Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative is the first line of communication with many customers and most buyers, making this position an essential voice of the company; professionalism is of the utmost importance.
A core responsibility of this position is entering all orders into the ERP database for both GVC and VFC. This position works closely with Sales, Production, Inventory, Shipping, and Accounting to ensure orders, pricing, discounts, and ship dates are all accurate.
Strong computer skills are needed to efficiently enter and process orders in our ERP system.
Core Responsibilities
- Order Entry & Processing: Accurately enter customer orders, product details, pricing, and billing information into the e21 system.
- Order Verification: review orders for completeness, accuracy, and product availability, flagging any issues.
- Customer & Internal Communication: contact customers to clarify details or resolve discrepancies; coordinate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Documentation: generate order acknowledgments and confirmations.
- Handle Inquiries: answer questions about products, services, billing, and accounts through various channels (phone and email).
- Problem Resolution: address complaints, cancellations, or changes to orders efficiently.
- Product Expertise: maintain up-to-date knowledge of company offerings to provide accurate information.
- Feedback: provide input to management on recurring issues and process improvements.
- Update customer records: following each contact log activity in CRM software.

Marketing Manager Position
Job Description
This important role will build and execute a practical, cost-effective marketing strategy to grow brand awareness, increase sales, and deepen customer/community relationships. This hands-on role combines brand storytelling, digital marketing, events, and partnership development.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage brand identity, messaging, and visual assets across digital and physical channels.
- Run digital marketing: social media content calendar, email newsletters, basic paid ads, and website content/updates.
- Take photographs and videos for marketing needs; ads, social media, printed material, etc…
- Build and nurture wholesale and retail partnerships (local restaurants, specialty stores, co-ops); support sales outreach and onboarding.
- Track KPIs (traffic, conversion, email performance, wholesale leads, event ROI) and report monthly to leadership.
- Manage marketing budget and vendor relationships.
Key Skills Required
- 2+ years marketing experience, preferably in food or beverage.
- Proven social media and email marketing skills.
- Strong writing and storytelling ability.
- Comfortable planning and running in-person events and trade/retail outreach.
- Project-management skills and ability to multitask in a hands-on environment.
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to work occasional weekends/evenings for events.
- Basic photography or photo-editing skills along with Google/Microsoft platform
- Creative and resourceful with a do-it-yourself mindset.
- Strong communicator and collaborator.

- Passion for artisanal food a plus.
- Experience with Shopify a plus.
